Police believe two seperate house fires in the North-West may have been deliverately lit.
The first fire took hold at a property on Cole Road in West Tamworth, about 2pm on New Years Day.
A second blaze then broke out at a Bourne Street address, also in West Tamworth, at around 3am today.
Both fires caused significant damage, but fortunately no one was at either home at the time of the fires.
Detectives are appealing for anyone with information about the incidents to contact them.
