Work to restore the Granny Fahey bridge north-west of Wingham has been completed, giving residents access to Caparra Road.
Both the Granny Fahey and Goldsmith bridges were washed away during this month’s floods, isolating around 50 people.
Council engineers are now assessing the second structure, with works set to begin shortly.
