A road worker is in a serious but stable condition in hospital, after an industrial accident south of Coffs Harbour this morning.
The 39-year-old male is believed to have been crushed by a load of cement and sand at the Lend Lease depot at Raleigh just before 10am.
The man had been working on the Pacific Highway upgrade project, and was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital suffering internal injuries.
Workcover is investigating.
