MAN ALLEGEDLY FOUND WITH 200 ‘ECSTACY’ TABLETS

More than $10,000 worth of the drug ‘ecstacy’ has been discovered during a search on the Mid North Coast.

Police allege they found 200 ecstasy tablets on a 30-year-old man who was parked in a car at a Horton Street shopping centre in Port Macquarie, just before 3.30am on Saturday.

The man was charged with supplying a prohibited drug, and possessing a prohibited drug.

Police say the estimated street value of the drugs is $10,700.

Then, about 10pm yesterday, a second man, aged 18, was arrested after he was allegedly found in possession of ecstasy tablets on Koala Street, also in Port Macquarie.

He was charged with three counts of supplying a prohibited drug, and two counts of possessing a prohibited drug.
