CLARENCE VALLEY CYCLIST SHINES AT WORLD MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS

A Clarence Valley cyclist has set two new records at the UCI Masters Track Cycling World Championships in the United States.

Laurelea Moss took home gold alongside Australian teammate Rebecca Wheadon in the Team Sprint, with a time of 37.2 seconds.

Moss also marked a new world best qualifying time of just under two and a half minutes, for the women’s 35-39 years 2000-metre Individual Pursuit.

But she wasn’t finished there…

Moss claimed gold for Australia in the five kilometre Scratch race.

Alongside fellow Aussie teammates, she also took out silver in the Team Pursuit.
