Work to upgrade a notoriously busy intersection along the M1 Pacific Motorway will begin early next year, with the state government today calling for tenders for the project.
The John Renshaw Drive and Weakleys Drive roundabout at Beresfield will be replaced with traffic lights.
It’s one of three projects under a $390-million M1 upgrades package, jointly funded by the federal and state governments.
Work should be completed in 2019.
