POOLS MAKING A SPLASH

Pool season began in the Tamworth region today, with Scully Park opening to the public.

It comes after extensive tiling work was done, to repair some sharp edges which had formed on the exit ladders.

But Scully’s not the only paddling paradise to have undergone a winter makeover.

“At Manilla, we’re in the process of doing some tiling work, similar to what we’re doing at Scully. The Barraba pool, it opens on Wednesday. Some exciting news up there in that they’ve had their diving board re-instated.”

Meanwhile Tamworth’s Olympic Pool will open next month, after upgrades there are complete.

A full list of when all facilities will be open, is available on the Tamworth Regional Council website.
