Tthe Armidale Showground is set for an upgrade, with council giving $50,000 to the Showground Reserve Trust.
The money is part of the Stronger Communities allocation from the state government, given during council mergers.
The funds will be used to renovate the kitchen and canteen facilities as well as upgrading the ammenities block.
Work is set to be complete before the Armidale Show on March 10 and 11.
