A man in his 50’s has died in a single vehicle crash near Lake Macquarie.
Police say the Honda Jazz left the road and crashed into a tree on Kalaroo Road in Redhead, about 7pm yesterday.
Attempts were made to resucitate the unconscious 57-year-old male driver, but he died at the scene.
It’s believed the man may have suffered a medical episode prior to the crash.
