Fresh from winning the first round of the Australian Supersport 300 series at Phillip Island, Swansea motorbike rider Tom Edwards already has his sights set on a bigger stage.
“Hopefully someone from Europe somewhere sees my talent in Australia and hopefully I get a wildcard into the European Championship.”
The teenager wasn’t expecting to dominate his maiden appearance in the category…
But his boss says now is the time to push for a place in Europe.
“He’s certainly at the right age right now, as a 15 year old, you don’t want to be going into it any younger than that because they haven’t developed the skills yet or the strength.”
