FIRE INSURANCE CHECKS

With bushfire danger periods in place across much of the New England North West – residents are being reminded to double check their insurance policies.

Verifying a correct name, address and cover level is being advised.

“It’s also a really good idea to take photographs of important items and documents around the home so that way you’ve got a record when it comes to making a claim.”

The Rural Fire Service is also encouraging residents to compile a bushfire survival plan.
