Police are investigating an armed robbery at a bakery on Ridge Street in Merewether, in Newcastle yesterday.
About 4:40pm, a 60-year-old woman was working at the bakery, when a man armed with a knife entered the store.
Police were told the man threatened the woman, before fleeing the scene, taking cash.
Officers would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 30s, about 188cm tall, of slim build, and was wearing a white striped hooded jumper.
