UPDATE: A 47-year-old man has been charged, following the alleged murder of his nine-month-old daughter earlier this week.
Emergency services were called to Surfers Paradise on November 19, after a young girl was found unresponsive on the beach.
The child was declared dead at the scene.
Investigators then spoke with the child’s parents – with a 47-year-old man arrested that day.
It will be alleged the child died in New South Wales.
The man has been extradited, and will face Tweed Heads Local Court today.

EARLIER: The father of a nine-month-old girl whose body was found on a Gold Coast beach, will be extradited to NSW over her death.
Police will allege he dumped her into the water over the border, before she was swept north.
