A learner driver, previously disqualified until 2034, has been remanded in custody after he was caught drink-driving and speeding near Coffs Harbour.
Police allege the 23 year old was clocked at 114 kilometres an hour, and swapped seats with his passenger as officers approached his car.
He later returned a mid range blood alcohol reading of 0.144.
He’ll next face court in a fortnight’s time.
