RECORD TOURISM BUDGET TO PROMOTE COUNTRY AREAS

The state government says the next financial year will see a major focus on promoting regional tourism.

A record $194-million was announced for the sector in yesterday’s budget – with a large chunk dedicated to seeing more tourists go bush.
