AUSSIE BULL RIDER REGAINS CONSCIOUSNESS FOLLOWING ACCIDENT IN US

Family of Tamworth bull rider Bradie Gray say he is so far responding well to treatment.

The 20-year-old was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after he was trampled by a bull during the College National Rodeo Finals in the US state of Wyoming two days ago.

He sustained several broken ribs, a punctured lung, a bruised aorta and was placed in an induced coma.

He’s since regained consciousness, but will remain on ventilators.

A GoFund Me page has been set up to help the family with medical expenses – so far more than $14,000 has been raised.
