An 80-year old women is in hospital with fractures to her neck and leg after she was allegedly pushed over by her 97-year-old husband in the Lake Macquarie area.
The elderly man has been charged with domestic violence offences after the incident that allegedly occurred at 7 last night, at the couples Redhead home.
The woman is in the John Hunter Hospital receiving treatment, while her husband was charged and released on bail.
He’s set to appear in Belmont Local Court on 3 July 2017.
