Police will allege a 14-year-old boy was behind the wheel of a car involved in a pursuit near Lake Macquarie this morning.
Police say the vehicle failed to stop for a random breath test on the Pacific Highway in Belmont around 4:30am.
The chase ended on Milray Street in Swansea, when the car hit a fence.
The driver was arrested following a short foot pursuit.
He was charged with unlicensed driver, take and drive conveyance, and drive manner dangerous police pursuit.
Police say the boy will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.
