MAN STABBED AFTER POKIE WIN IN GOSFORD CBD

A North Gosford man is recovering after being stabbed in the back during an aggravated robbery last night.

The man had just won a substantial amount of money on the poker machines at the Gosford Hotel on Mann Street.

Police say he left the pub at around 8:30 with two male friends, who then demanded the cash, one of them allegedly stabbing him in the lower back as he was trying to deposit his winnings into  an ATM.

One man has been arrested.
