The Northern All Stars have started their campaign at the Pacific Coast Basketball Slam on a high, with wins in both the under 17’s boys and girls divisions.
The boys took down New Zealand Rata in their opening game, captain Joe Wright and Jack Pike helping the team to a 36-point victory.
Meanwhile, the girls proved too good against a strong Brisbane side.
Captain, Bianca Goodhand a standout, helping her side to a 42-points to 38 win.
