SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH CLAIMS TWO LIVES IN THE FAR NORTH

Two people have been killed, and another two airlifted to hospital, after a single vehicle crash in the far north of New South Wales.
Just before 4:30pm yesterday, police say a silver Toyota Camry left the Pacific Highway at Clothiers Creek, north of Byron Bay, striking a cement bridge and landing in a culvert.
Two women, aged 64 and 46, died at the scene.
A 47-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were treated at the scene and airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital. It’s believed their injuries are not life threatening.
