TWO MEN FACE A DOZEN CHARGES AFTER NORTH COAST BREAK IN

Two men have been charged over an aggravated robbery on the North Coast yesterday.

It’s alleged the pair drove a stolen vehicle along Corindi Park Drive at 3.30pm when they got out and tried to enter a home.

It’s understood one of the men broke in to the house with a hammer and allegedly stole property, including a rifle and credit card.

The owner of the home arrived during the incident and fled to a neighbour’s property to call for help.

Police officers later found the stolen vehicle, and items, in a motel carpark at Mullaway just after 5pm.

Arrested, the 27 and 38 year-old face multiple charges, including intimidation and aggravated break and enter.

The pair will face Coffs Harbour Local Court on Thursday.
