DRONE SHARK ALARM TRIALED AT FINGAL BAY

Newcastle based company, Hover UAV, tested a new shark alarm system today at Fingal Bay.

They have developed a remotely controlled siren capable of attaching to a drone.

When it spots a dangerous shark the device can be activated from the shoreline, alerting beachgoers immediately.

They hope to roll the technology out across the New South Wale’s coastline.
