GREAT LAKES CYCLE AND WALKWAY CONNECTIONS COMPLETE
Cyclists and pedestrians in the Great Lakes are now able to access 15 kilometres of uninterrupted walkways, between Forster and Tuncurry.
Council has completed three kilometres of new pathways, which link with existing infrastructure to create the network.
“It was essential in this area and council has worked for a number of years with the state government to develop a program that links all of the existing footpaths together,” Ron Hartley from MidCoast Council says.
The project is part of a $1 million investment to create better access to facilities such as shops and schools.
