Same-sex marriage advocates are currently hosting a public forum at the Lismore Workers Club.
Organised by ‘Australian Marriage Equality’ – the event’s an opportunity to openly discuss the complex issue.
“Once we can learn and all be on the same page, then ultimately the outcome will be a beneficial one for everyone. It’s an issue that’s not going to go away, and it’s simply about giving everyone equal rights.”
Reachtel polling commissioned by A.M.E, shows 63% of voters believe Federal MP Kevin Hogan, should get a free vote on the issue in parliament.
