A two-car crash in the Upper Hunter this week has claimed another life, with a second person passing away in hospital.
On Monday afternoon, a Mazda 323 collided with a Ford Falcon on the New England Highway at Aberdeen.
A 52-year-old woman, the passenger in the Mazda, died at the scene.
Her 54-year-old husband, the driver of the Mazda, suffered serious lower leg injuries and remains in a serious condition.
The 34-year-old male driver of the Ford was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition with serious internal injuries.
Unfortunately he died on Friday morning.
Any witnesses are being asked to contact police.
