Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson was the Parliamentary Secretary for Regional Roads and Rail, but now the role has undergone a makeover following yesterday’s cabinet reshuffle.
Mr Anderson will now work as the Parliamentary Secretary for Regional Roads and Transport – the name change allowing him to play a greater role in developing transport links for regional communities.
He says he will work with the new Roads, Freight and Maritime minister Melinda Pavey to progress the Gunnedah overpass and upgrades to the Oxley Highway and Manilla road.
