SPEED POSSIBLY A FACTOR IN SANDY HOLLOW ROAD FATALITY

A man has died in a single vehicle crash in the Hunter Valley overnight.

Police believe the 36-year-old man was the only occupant of a Holden Commodore sedan that was travelling south on Bylong Valley Way at Sandy Hollow sometime between 9.30pm and midnight.

Around one kilometre south of Richmond Grove Road, the vehicle appears to have left the road and rolled.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle and it’s believed he died at the scene. It’s also believed that speed was a factor.
