INVESTIGATION CONTINUES AFTER CHARLESTOWN BASHING

Police are offering a reward of up to $1000 for information which leads to the arrest of the person responsible for bashing a teenager at Charlestown last month.
The 15-year-old boy was with his friends at Charlestown Square on December 27, when a man grabbed him by the throat and threw him onto some chairs.
The man kicked and punched the boy in the face, before leaving in a silver camry or silver lancer, which was driven by a woman.
The teenager suffered serious facial injuries, requiring him to have two plates inserted into his jaw.
Anyone with information about the man or car is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
