The transformation of Singleton town centre has been given a boost, with funding announced to continue work along John Street.
The local council has been granted $3.5-million from the state government – half of the project’s total cost.
The money will be used to improve lighting, footpaths and pedestrian access between Ryan Avenue and Campbell Street.
Singleton Council says it’s working to secure its share of stage two funding.
