Windy conditions made for a challenging race at Lismore Rowing Club’s Major Regatta today.
It drew teams from across the North Coast compete on the Richmond River in Coraki.
“Very hard conditions actually up there at the start line, because the winds really funneling down there. Particularly for young rowers, novice rowers that would be really difficult.”
The events saw school children take to the waters alongside more senior rowers, as the middle-aged bracket struggled to be filled.
