Police have allegedly uncovered a stash of stolen jewellery at a Lake Macquarie home.
The Windale property was searched yesterday, as part of an investigation into a break-in at a Charlestown jewellers.
Police allege 55 pieces of stolen jewellery were found, leading to the arrest of a 44-year-old man.
He was charged and is before Newcastle Local Court today.
