Organisers are hopeful the skies will clear by this evening, as thousands are expected to turn out for Carols in The Park.
Preparations were in full swing this morning, for a night of Christmas cheer.
Bicentennial Park will come alive song from 6:30, with tonight’s proceeds going towards the Ronald McDonald House.
