MCDONAGH PROGRESSES AT GROMSEARCH

Lennox Head teen Mikey McDonagh is a major chance, to take out the Ripcurl Gromsearch event on the Sunshine Coast.

The 16 year old produced an impressive performance during his round three heat at Coolum Beach this afternoon, easily advancing.

A series of explosive turns earned him the highest single wave score of the day – 8.33 out of 10.

McDonagh will now meet Alistar Reginado and Callum Robson, when competition resumes tomorrow.
