Diamond Beach athlete and Paralympic gold medallist James Turner, has been selected as a finalist in two categories at the Australian Paralympic Awards in Sydney tomorrow.
The 20-year-old has been nominated for ‘Male Paralympian of the Year’ and ‘Rookie of the Year’.
Turner blitzed the T36 800 metre event in Rio, shaving more than 2 seconds off the world record.
