QUIPOLLY DAM PROJECT DELAYED WITH COUNCIL YET TO CHOOSE CONTRACTOR

Plans to construct a new water treatment plant and pipeline at Quipolly Dam have been significantly delayed.

Work on the $30-million project was due to begin by Christmas, however Liverpool Plains Shire Council says it’s yet to select a contractor meaning work is unlikely to commence until next year.

The project will be the largest infrastructure development ever undertaken in the area.
