A man has died after being struck by lightning near Murwillumbah this morning.
Emergency services were called to the top of Mt Warning just before five o’clock, following reports at least two people had been injured.
Police say the man and woman were camping at the summit last night.
The man died at the scene while the woman was treated for neck and head injuries.
