JETTY JUMPER IN HOSPITAL

A 35-year-old man is in Coffs Harbour hospital,
after he miss timed a jump at the Jetty overnight.
Ambulance paramedics were called to the popular jump-off spot at 2.30 this morning.
The man, who was with friends, jumped from the five-metre high structure but landed heavy on a wooden platform on the side of the Jetty.
He sustained chest and abdominal injuries and was admitted to hospital in a serious condition.
