A fisherman has been flown to hospital after he fell at Port Stephens, badly breaking his leg.
The 25-year-old had only just arrived at One Mile Beach early this morning when he slipped on a rock shelf.
Due to his location, he had to be winched to safety by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
He was taken to John Hunter Hospital, where he’s in a stable condition.
