An elderly man who went missing from Maitland Hospital on Monday has been found alive.
86-year-old Herbert “Nobby” Bartlett was found next to a swamp at the end of Bona street, about a kilometre from the hospital.
Mr Bartlett was suffering cuts and from exposure.
Police and the SES started a ground search yesterday.
