Work to connect Maitland’s main street to the banks of the Hunter River is about to begin.
Construction on the Riverlink Building will start next week.
It’s a key part of the town’s Levee development.
The project will include a cafe, public space, art and new amenities.
Three buildings will be demolished.
Work is expected to finish late next year.
