An elderly man was yesterday flown to hospital, after his tractor rolled at Mount George, west of Taree.
According to a statement from the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, the 96-year-old suffered multiple abrasions and suspected pelvic injuries in the accident, which happened at around 6pm.
The Taree Rescue Squad assisted with transporting the injured man to the waiting helicopter where he received treatment.
He was flown to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
