A terrifying close call for a pilot in the US, with the man almost decapitated as another plane hit him from behind.
The pilot was about to step out of his aircraft at a race event in Nevada, when another plane accelerated down the runway – one of its wings slicing off his canopy.
The impact sent the man’s plane spinning… incredibly, he escaped with a minor hand injury.
