CELEBRATIONS AT SAWTELL PUBLIC

Sawtell Public School has celebrated the official opening of a new hall.
The $2.1-million project was funded by the Federal Government’s highly criticised Building the Education Revolution program.
But there were no qualms about the 190 square metre structure today, teachers and students singing its praises.
The hall is equipped with a PA system, a rainwater tank and solar panels, and also features a covered outdoor learning area for extra audience space.
Community groups are being invited to use the hall.
