A man is dead after his ute left the road and slammed into a power pole at Port Stephens.
Around 2:20am on Sunday, emergency services responded to reports of a crash on Seaham Road near the intersection with Noongah Road at Nelsons Plains.
On arrival, police found the Toyota utility, and say the lone male occupant appeared to have died on impact.
Investigators are attempting to formally identify the man.
