CANDIDATES TALK CLIMATE CHANGE

Candidates running for the seat of New England will meet in Tamworth’s Bicentennial Park tomorrow for talks on climate change.
The meeting will coincide with World Environment Day.
The New England Climate Action Group and the Tamworth branch of the National Parks Association want to hear from candidates and where they stand on the issue.
Their main concern is about mining and its impact on farmland and water security.
Independents Tony Windsor and Rob Taber, as well as Greens candidate Mercurius Goldstein, are expected to attend.
