Some of the best high school athletes in the region competed in Tamworth today – vying for selection in the School Sport State Carnival.
While they may not be up to Olympic level just yet, competitors were put to the test in the javelin and relay events with top skills on show.
The successful athletes will head to Homebush for the next level of competition next month.
