WARRIORS GEARING UP FOR BATTLE ON HOME TURF

The MacIntyre Warriors rugby league club has received a $25,000 State Government grant to upgrade their home ground in Boggabilla.

Group 19’s newest team has played their first five matches away from home, with fencing and new lighting needed for their current oval.

It hasn’t affected the club, sitting on top of the ladder, undefeated.

MacIntyre faces its biggest test of the year this weekend though, taking on the Moree Boomerangs.

The rest of the round sees the Boars battle Ashford, and the Super Spuds welcome the defending premiers to Guyra.
