CHANGES COME FOR KNIGHTS AS SEASON NEARS END

The Newcastle Knights today officially announced the retirement of three players, with a fourth player leaving for another club.

Chronic neck and back injuries have forced prop Kade Snowden into a medical retirement. The medical retirement means that most of his contract for 2016 and 2017 will not count against the Knights salary cap. Fans can farewell Snowden at the club’s final home game on Sunday.

Fans will also get the chance to say their goodbyes to Jeremy Smith and James McManus before the game against South Sydney this weekend.

Meanwhile, as anticipated, forward Robbie Rochow has announced he will leave the Club at season’s end. Rochow has signed a one-year deal with the Rabbitohs.
