Alstonville Community Preschool and Ballina’s Hope Haven are among 100 community groups to receive a share of almost $400,000.
Ballina RSL has donated the funds as part of its ClubGRANTS initiative, which supports local organisations, sporting groups and charities.
“They do some great things, we’re happy to be able to support them financially, and it’s about connecting them with each other and recognising what they do as so important for our community.”
Over the past ten years, Ballina RSL has given almost $4-million in cash and in-kind donations.
